Joe Rodriguez is best known as the drummer for alternative pop band The Hallows, bringing a song-focused, energetic, and musical approach to every performance and recording.
The Hallows are currently recording their second album, following the success of their critically acclaimed debut, “Of Time and Tides”. Both records showcase Joe’s dynamic playing style and commitment to serving the song. Throughout his career, Joe has shared stages with notable artists including Big Country, The Blow Monkeys, Courtesans, Neville Staple, Devilskin, Rachel Stamp & Hawkwind.
Over the years, Joe has recorded with acclaimed producers including Seb Pecchia (Jeff Beck, Robert Plant), Martin Phillips (Erasure, Roachford), and Simon Effemy (The Wildhearts, The Wonderstuff). His extensive session work has led to performances for television and radio, as well as appearances at festivals throughout the UK and internationally.
Joe has worked as a session drummer for Ronan Keating and toured with Icelandic singer Hafdís Huld. He was also a member of alternative rock outfit The Pressure Room alongside Matt Nasir (Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls). Their album “Wide Of The Mark” provided Joe with the opportunity to further explore his passion for melodic and progressive rock.
Joe has performed at a variety of prestigious private and corporate events over the years, with audience members including Robin Gibb, Peter Andre, Danny Dyer and Joanna Lumley.
Alongside his performing career, Joe is a dedicated music educator and clinician. Through private tuition and partnerships with schools, he has supported a diverse range of students and has a proven track record of working successfully with learners who have specific educational needs and disabilities.
