7.5mm, 6-ply Birch Core with Ash Outer Veneer: Featuring a core 6-ply birch shell, with premium ash outer veneer, these snares offer a bright, punchy tone with a quick attack, strong projection, and controlled sustain. Birch’s naturally EQ’d properties reduce unwanted overtones, while the thicker shell construction enhances durability and tonal richness. Chrome Over Steel: With a striking chrome finish over a steel shell, these Artist shells are bold and resonant, deliving a a powerful, articulate sound with sharp rimshots, clear attack, and long sustain. With a consistent tone and exceptional clarity, they thrive in high-volume settings, giving you unmatched presence and definition.

Brushed Aluminium: Offering a crisp, dry, and vintage-inspired tone, the brushed aluminium shell provides a sharp, articulate attack combined with a warm, open character. With quick decay and minimal overtones, the characteristics of aluminium deliver the classic “crack” and tight response favoured in studio work or where dynamic sensitivity is required.

Specifically Paired Steel Snare Wires with Copper End-Plates: Every Artist snare is paired with steel snare wires precisely matched to its tonal qualities. The 20-strand wires balance crisp response and natural tone for versatile performance. The 24-strand wires increase contact with the resonant head, producing a brighter, snappier attack and fuller resonance. For deeper body and richer buzz, the 42-strand wires excel at low tuning and live settings, offering a textured, controlled snare sound.

45-Degree Bearing Edge: Cut with a sharp, 45-degree angle, Premier’s signature bearing edge enhances head-to-shell contact for maximum resonance and tonal clarity.
