Chris Sharrock

- Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds
"I am proud to be a part of the legend that is Premier."

Since his career began over two decades ago, Chris has built up an impressive back catalogue which includes playing on the first real Britpop classic, ‘There She Goes’ by The La’s and recording one of the most popular songs of the ’90s, ‘Three Lions on a Shirt’ by Baddiel, Skinner and the Lightning Seeds.

Chris began working with Robbie Williams in 1997 and performed on his triple platinum debut solo album ‘Life Thru A Lens’ going on to perform at some of the biggest live concerts in recent years including Robbie’s three consecutive shows at Knebworth, England where the band played to over 375,000 fans. Chris was also involved in the first ever televised High Definition live performance with Robbie in September 2006.

Chris has worked with Karl Wallinger & World Party, The Lightening Seeds, Terry Hall, Dave Stewart and Lou Reed.

In 2008 Chris took up the driving seat with British rockers Oasis performing at Heaton Park, Manchester and sell-out shows at Wembley Stadium, London and played their last ever gig at the V Festival in Staffordshire.

After Oasis split, Chris rejoined Liam Gallagher and other band-mates to form ‘Beady Eye’ before teaming up with Noel Gallagher to become the mainstay drummer of the ‘High Flying Birds’.
