Jim Royle is leading a Percussion Ensemble representing his acclaimed school ‘The Jim Royle Drum Studio’ on a performing tour of Italy. The band will perform two concerts in Cremona on a bill with the Soncino Percussion Ensemble, a 10-year-old Italian percussion group. They will then perform in Venice and Milan.

Laurent Mariusse started playing drums and percussion at the age of seven. He studied for four years at the Conservatoire National Supérieur, graduating in 1998 with a major in Contemporary Music, which is his first passion. This has lead him to work with eminent composers such as Pierre Boulez, Peter Eötvos, Daniel Tosi, and François-Bernard Mache.
