South American Champions Dom Oton Mota Marching Band choose Premier

The Dom Oton Mota Marching Band, based in Santa Cruz, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil claimed the champion’s title at the 2012 WAMSB South American Marching Show Band Championships which took place on the 27th April through to the 1st May in the city of Atibaia in São Paulo. The victory earns the band a place in the 2014 WAMSB World Championship which for the second time will also take place in Atibaia, and will see bands traveling from around the world to compete for the ultimate prize. Dom Oton Mota is already planning for the event, and a trip to the European Open Championship taking place in Rastede, Germany in 2016.
Since 2011 the members of the drum line perform exclusively with Premier Revolution Series marching drums in Ebony Black Lacquer. Antonio Veiga, Band Coordinator says “We are really happy and satisfied with a win and have already started planning for the future; we always strive for improvement and count on the prestige of Premier drums to give us the best possible sound”.
Dom Oton Mota Marching Band is helping to promote the Premier brand and products in Brazil where rhythm, percussion and marching music are vital part of the national culture.
