Foote's of London announced as latest retail partner
20 November 2014
We are pleased to announce that one of London’s oldest music shops, Foote’s, is the latest retail partner to be added to our dealer network.
Established in 1920, Foote’s has been at the heart of every music scene since the birth of jazz, the swinging 60’s and right through to modern day genres. From its new location in Store Street, London, Foote’s champions the very best of British brands and are proud to once again stock the iconic Premier brand.
Foote’s story is entwined with the history of Premier – with the famous drum brand founded in 1922 in Berwick Street, London by Albert Della Porta, the company soon acquired Charles Ernest Foote’s shop which provided the platform for Premier to build their world-class brand upon.
In 2012, Foote’s was purchased from the Della Porta family by the Wilson’s with the help of a group of investors that include Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason – who also originally had ties with Premier.
The announcement coincides with Foote’s Best of British Day that takes place in-store on 6th December 2014 with Premier’s Steve White in attendance, plus a selection of One Series snares and the MIA award winning Rhythm Percussion Product of the Year - the Modern Classic - available to purchase on the day.
