Scottish Drum Fair - 18th November 2012

dD Drums, Falkirk are proud to present Scottish Drum Fair 2012, the largest drum based event held ‘north of the border’ for many years. The aim is to entertain, enlighten and inspire drummers young and old, novices to experts, and to further our goal of strengthening the Scottish drum community.

Scottish Drum Fair 2012 will feature live performances from the biggest names in the drum world, trade displays from the best in the music industry, the largest display of vintage drum kit seen in Scotland, drum workshops and much more for drummers of all kinds.

The show are pleased to announce that the first confirmed performer will be Premier's international ambassador and clinician Craig Blundell

Also appearing will be Callum Blair who recently won Young Drummer of the Year 2012 and Simon Grant one of Scotland's top pipe band drummers and founder of drumscotland.com.

Scottish Drum Fair 2012 will also feature a Vintage Drum Fair. Curated alongside Tam Rankin, one of the country's leading vintage Premier experts, this living museum of drum kit history will host a collection of rare and vintage drum kits seldom seen together in one place.

The Vintage Drum Fair will coincide with the Premier Timeline Project. With Premier celebrating its 90th birthday this year, the show would like to put together the largest collection of vintage Premier kits from every era of the company. It promises to be a spectacular vintage event.

Along with great things to hear and cool things to see, our trade displays will allow attendees to see some of the most exciting new drum based products available. Scottish Drum Fair 2012 will be holding the exclusive Scottish launch of the brand new ‘ONE’ Series product line from Premier.

Scottish Drum Fair 2012 promises to be a great day out for anyone with any level of interest in drumming and an unmissable day in the Scottish events calendar.
