Iron Maiden's The Final Frontier debuts at number one

British heavy metal legends Iron Maiden, featuring Premier's Nicko McBrain, have claimed the number one spot in the UK's official albums chart in its first week of release.

"The Final Frontier" is Iron Maiden's latest album and consists of 10 tracks spanning 80 minutes of epic work with Nicko behind his beloved Premier Series Elite drumset.

Nicko and the band have three other UK number one's - 1982's "The Number of the Beast", 1988's "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son" and 1992's "Fear of the Dark" with all but one of their 15 studio albums having reached the UK top ten.

2010's "The Final Frontier" debuted also at number one in Sweden and Finland, whilst reaching number two in Australia and the Netherlands.

In the next edition of the US's Billboard Top 200, the album is expected to debut at a record number three.
