Premier drums were the first I ever played as a kid. As an adult Premier have everything I need to make great records or shows; they make first-class drums.
Information
Jamie Morrison has been described by many as a versatile, dynamic, creative drummer. With his tenth year of playing drums professionally in London under his belt he has seen each year get more challenging and interesting. Jamie was a founding member of the UK pop outfit the “Noisettes” who were signed to Motown Records in 2003 and released the critically acclaimed album “What’s the time Mr Wolf?”
In 2007 the Noisettes resigned to Mercury Records and in 2009 released the number one album “Wild Young Hearts” which featured the band’s two major top 10 hits “Go baby go (don’t upset the rhythm)” and “Never forget you”.
With both albums the band toured world-wide playing to huge audiences including numerous TV shows such as:
- Jonathan Ross (UK)
- Jools Holland (UK)
- David Letterman (US)
- The Greg Ferguson show (US)
- Wendy Williams (US)
- GMTV (UK)
-
The Abbey Road Sessions. (UK)
Jamie left the Noisettes in January 2010 and moved on to play drums (together with Premier's Luke Bullen) on KT Tunstall’s last album “Tiger Suite”. This was quickly followed by Jamie taking up the drumming seat for Welsh star “Duffy” as well as Motown legend “Martha Reeves and the Vandellas”.
Jamie is currently working and touring with the UK's emerging talent of “Rebecca Ferguson”.
