Born in Farningham, near Boston on 28th September 1965, Ginger was Christened Franklin Kenneth Wilson, later changing his name to Kenneth. Growing up listening to bands such as Black Sabbath and Rush spurred Kenneth's interest in drumming and by 2nd grade at primary school he was learning to play.
Kenneth grew up in a music rich environment, both his parents worked in the entertainment industry - his Father a crooner touring with Frank Sinatra and his Mother a dancer with Warner Bros. Kenneth's parents were indulged in Theatre and eventually purchased one in Orlando, Florida hosting shows including The Merry Widow, No No Nanette Chicago and Jesus Christ Superstar.
Kenneth eventually moved to Las Vegas to study music at the University of Nevada where he played in the college corps. By the mid 80's he had been hired by several Las Vegas show bands.
One weekend in 1995, Kenneth taught himself the first Marilyn Manson album, in the hope of becoming their new drummer replacing Sara Lee Lucas. He auditioned and was successful. A combination of Ginger Rogers (famous dancer) and Albert Fish (cannibal serial killer) and his stage name, Ginger Fish was born.
